THE SHOW MUST GO ON…
Had my second photoshoot with Asia’s Next Top Model contestant Sharnie Fenn last night despite the looming danger of a massive typhoon headed our way. About halfway through the shoot, we wondered if we should continue, but thanks to the professionalism of dedication of my team, we soldiered on and managed to get some of the most amazing shots of Sharnie to date. This ordeal has taught me two things, 1. Surround yourself with competent, professional, passionate people. 2. The show must go on.
My Fujifilm GFX 100S arrived about a week ago and I wanted to share my experience using it on two professional shoots. Yes! while it is an extremely capable and flexible camera, it is not without it’s many quirks. The first being it’s wonky software that doesn’t seem to know if or how it wants to connect wirelessly to your mobile device. The second would be the Face Detect / Eye Detect Auto-Focus, I found that it seems to constantly want to turn itself off.
I was recently contacted by Profoto’s head office in Stockholm about them taking over the technical support of Profoto User’s Group page I created on Facebook.
This is a huge honor to have Profoto officially support my page.
What this means is, any questions concerning Profoto’s products will be answered accurately and directly by Profoto’s tech staff and engineers.
This is huge! And I’m ecstatic to have their support.
Had an absolutely AMAZING photoshoot with this sexy little powerhouse the other day.
Mina Martinez is truly a force to be reckoned with.
Multitalented, down-to-earth, intelligent, cool-headed, movitivated, ambitious, gorgeous are just a few of the words that come to mind while working with this young lady (and trust me I could go on and on).
The shots we got from this shoot are absolutely stunning!
Can’t wait to share them with the world.
For now, you just have to settle for this quick out-of-camera JPEG.
But even looking at such a low-resolution JPEG, you can see this shoot was EPIC!
