Yesterday I had the extreme honor of doing a portrait for Profoto Japan's Managing Director Örjan Pettersson who stopped by the studio to let me borrow the new Fujifilm A1X which I will be taking through it's paces and giving a full review of shortly.
We only had a few minutes for this portrait as I had the CEO of a new cosmetics company coming 15 min. later from which I had to tear down the set and create an entirely new set to photograph her new product. Needless to say, yesterday was very frantic.
For Örjan's portrait, I used a simple setup of just one 5' Octa with a grid angled down at him from at 45 degrees from camera right and a huge white V-Flat for fill camera left.
I think this portrait captures his very kind but stern personality perfectly ;-)
