A WOMAN OF INCREDIBLE COURAGE AND RESILIENCE
Congressperson Ilhan Omar is undoubtedly one of the most courageous women we’ve seen in our lifetime. She is constantly harassed and persecuted for her faith and simply wearing a hijab by a country that hypocritically promotes itself as the beacon of free expression and free speech. The truth is, Amurikkka has NEVER been free for Black and Brown people. We are told to play by the rules and we’ll have a decent life while they constantly change the rules to make sure that NEVER happens. This is fascination of White Amurikkka to want to keep us under their heels is exactly why I left the military (even though I loved serving and thought I would have a long career), and why I eventually left Amurikkka with absolutely no intention of EVER returning. I will never understand a people who claim themselves superior yet their entire premise of their superiority rests in giving themselves unfair advantages over others. If you were truly “superior”, you would be able to compete on a fair playing field. Perhaps you should stop calling yourselves “White Supremacists” and call yourselves by your true nature, “White Insecuracists”. And yes I know that’s not a real word but just make it up like you do everything else. 🙄
But I digress, I want to talk about the incredible courage displayed by Congresswoman Omar. She’s been attacked, spat on, lied about, and so much more, and yet she still remains resilient, graceful, and elegant through it all. She is a well-spoken, intelligent, mature and beautiful Black woman. And that is probably why they hate her so much. She reminds them of everything they are not. As Black people, we must honor, respect and protect this woman. She remains one of our last remaining pillars of hope and dignity.
